Since its inception, this website has changed many times. When writing such a site as this, it is important to keep it updated as often as possible.
On Tuesday 18th April, the Swineshead Village Children's Drama Group Committee decided to temporarily remove our website from the World Wide Web due to an allegation concerning the advertising that is imposed on the site by FortuneCity.
This allegation was then investigated on a number of computer systems at great length, to decide whether it was necessary to permanently remove my website from the web space provider. To see the archived details of these investigations, click here. After having conducted these investigations, we tentatively decided to remain with www.fortunecity.com but we then checked the advertisements used daily, to ensure that they were not inappropriate.
We decided that it would be prudent to move to the Geocities Family environment for the protection of children against potentially inappropriate advertising. By starting afresh in a new internet community, we hope that visitors can understand that we have done all that we could to safeguard the children's moral well-being.
